ClipVault Privacy Policy

Information we collect

None. ClipVault does not collect personal information. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data stored on your device

The following stays only on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else:

• Saved media is stored in your device's Photos library when you choose to save it.
• Bookmarks, collections, and history are stored locally on your device.
• Private folders are protected by your device's Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.

You can delete this data at any time from within the app or by deleting the app.

Permissions we request

• Photo Library (Add): to save photos and videos you choose to download.
• Face ID: to unlock private bookmark folders that you protect.
• Pasteboard (clipboard): to detect and paste a supported link you have copied.

These permissions are used only for the purposes above. We do not read, store, or transmit your clipboard, photos, or other content to any server.

Network usage

ClipVault connects directly from your device to public social-media services (and, for some platforms, a public media-resolution endpoint) only to fetch the media for the link you provide. These requests are made from your device. We do not log or store them.

Third-party content

ClipVault helps you save media from third-party platforms (such as X, Threads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and TikTok). Those platforms have their own privacy policies and terms of service, which govern your use of their services. Please only save content you own or have the right to use.

Children's privacy

ClipVault does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
